Brought up in St Petersburg, Marta studied fine arts in Cambridge (Harvard University) and New York (Art Student League).
Besides being owned by Senator Edward Kennedy and vice-chairman, Philip Byrne of UBS London, Marta's paintings are held in private collections troughout the USA, the UK and Europe.
She describes herself as figurative impressionist painter, primarily working on commissioned portraits and interior decoration painting.
